Enacted under Executive Order 2023-5, we are a dynamic advisory body within the Department of Labor and Economic Opportunity, championing the rights and well-being of individuals within the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and other identities in the spectrum. The LGBTQ+ Commission of Michigan is dedicated to serving as a vital advisory force, collaborating with the governor, LEO and various stakeholders to shape policies, eliminate discrimination and enhance the overall quality of life for the LGBTQ+ community.
