The Vagina Monologues 20th Anniversary Celebration

University of Michigan-Flint Theatre
303 E Kearsley St, Flint, Michigan 48502
The Vagina Monologues is a play by award winning playwright Eve Ensler, founder of V-Day, a global activist movement to stop violence against women and girls, cisgender and transgender alike, as well as femme people of all genders.
Performed by UM-Flint students, faculty, staff, and local community members, The Vagina Monologues is intended to break down the barriers of secrecy and shame surrounding both the use of the word "vagina" and the violence perpetrated against those who are feminine.
Co-sponsored by the Department of Theater and Dance, the Department of Women and Gender Studies, the Ellen Bommarito LGBTQ Center, the Women’s Educational Center, and Transgender Michigan.
