TransGender Michigan is a 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of transgender individuals in Michigan. Through education, support, and advocacy, TransGender Michigan strives to transform Michigan into a state where transgender individuals, and their significant others, friends, and families, can live free of hate, violence and discrimination.

Mission Statement.....
Because transgender individuals and significant others, families, friends, and allies (SOFFAs) face discrimination, violence, harassment, and inequality, TransGender Michigan aims to remedy these social injustices and create a better future for all.
Goals.....
- To educate Michigan about gender identity and expression as well as injustices faced by transgender individuals and significant others, families, friends, and allies (SOFFAs).
- To advocate for equality, social justice and inclusion of transgender individuals, significant others, families, friends, and allies (SOFFAs), and those who are perceived as gender variant.
- To provide support for transgender individuals, significant others, families, friends, and allies (SOFFAs), and those who are perceived as gender variant.
